We met at Bend in the River Park in Rice Minnesota. The temperature was frigid and in true Minnesota fashion, the wind was making it much worse! These two love birds were champs though. They made it so much fun! To try to combat the cold, we kept moving. Walking, piggy back rides, swooping each other up and snuggling to stay warm.

What I loved most about this session wasn’t just the gorgeous setting or the cinematic winter light, it was them. The way they naturally leaned into each other. The way they laughed through the wind. The way they turned freezing temps into part of their story instead of a problem.
I am already counting down to their December wedding (and yes, I am absolutely hoping it’s warmer than 10 degrees!), but honestly? Weather doesn’t stand a chance against these two. Their love is steady, joyful, and so full of life and I feel SO lucky I get to photograph it.
I seriously cannot wait to cheer for their marriage and celebrate them all over again!!!
